GWguru in guild wars.
Since this is the biggest guild wars fansite, i suggest implementing in guildwars like they did wiki kind of. Like, you could post new threads in guru while your playing guildwars. You could sell an item while guildwars is on, like press f12 i think thats the one for wiki, but lets say that. If your stuck in a part in a quest or mission, you could just post while playing guildwars

And watch the number of "what's the best way to make money?" threads explode. Eh... /onthefence
Although I do think this would tick off GWO and other fan sites. I don't want people whining about how "OMG a.net thinks their fan site is better, boycott until they link our site to the game too."

Wiki is useful. It is a resource site
GwGuru is entertaining. It is a discussion site.

Yeah I mean, pfft Guru has nothing that is a resource or useful. THANKS FOR THE PLUG THERE HELIX. <3 you too man
And no, integration of just a forum in general is not something that has been developed or could be reliably used in a way that would prove a benefit while in game.

I don't understand why you can't just minimise. Besides, there isn't much point integrating Guru anyway.

Edit: /notsigned, while it might be useful on occasion to browse Guru from with in GW, one can always just alt-tab it, or use a second monitor, or run GW in windowed mode. Guru doesn't need official integration into the game client, at best perhaps the Help window could provide a list of Fansites and links to them... as opposed to a link to the official GW site's list fan sites, as it currently does.

/nosign for the following reason....
Guru is about the biggest Grief-fest there is. I'm sad to see the game's staff even bother wasting their time here.

Annoying as hell.
"What in darnation is that Monk doing over there? Heal please?"
5 minutes later
"Sorry, was just posting a suggestion on Guru about how the skill icon of Vamprism needs an overhaul".

Why would you post you are stuck on a mission when F10 brings you to the solution? As in, wiki.

1. The percentage of GW players that have even heard of guildwars guru is very small.
2. A fair amount of people who know about guru (among other fan sites) think very little of the quality of the discussions in these forums.
3. If Guild Wars Guru got a special link in-game, then it would only be fair to add links to other fan sites such as GWO and presearing.com. (the former sucks, the latter doesn't)
4. F10 works just fine as a launch point for internet surfing.

all F10 does anyway is minimize. It just automatically opens the browser.
